You are not alone!

Since we began our research in early 2007, we have already received hundreds of emails and posts from all over the world, from people who struggle to find comfortable AND appropriate clothing for themselves or their child(ren). We mostly receive comments, suggestions, and personal stories from people who struggle with "tactile defensiveness" and specifically extreme sensitivity to clothing, often associated with Autism, Aspergers, Sensory Processing Disorders, or what may casually be referred to as "fussy dressers." We also recieve stories from educators who notice how these sensory sensitivities can interfere with a child's ability to participate fully in the classroom, social interactions, school and community activities and more. As Soft(clothing for all children) is in the development process, we continuously have the ability and desire to base our designs on what we hear from our potential customers. We need and want your feedback so that our clothing is tailored to meet your needs. If you or your child, or someonw you know is a "sensitive dresser," then please get in touch by emailing us at info@softclothing.net. If you would like to read selections from the comments and suggestions we have received, click here.
This site is updated regularly, so check back. If you do NOT want your message posted, simply tell us, and we will, of course, respect your privacy. We will also never include your name, geographic information, or any other identifying information without your permission.

Tell us what you think, what you need, and what you want.

Many children are extra-sensitive to the texture and feel of clothing. Soft (clothing for all children)® is the first line of inclusive clothing designed with the needs of all children in mind, including those with Autism, Processing Disorder, and a range of sensory sensitivities. We use flat seaming for extra comfort, 100% of the softest combed cotton, wide collars, printed labels, custom fits, and much much more. Check out our new video preview of our first collection.
