The conference will kick off on Thursday, November 11th with a full-day Special Education Law Workshop where parents will learn strategies to advocate for the best possible IEP for their children. The conference covers a wide range of topics, including everything from advocacy to cutting-edge research, biomedical and dietary interventions, Sensory Processing Disorder, teaching speech to non-verbal children, adolescence, video modeling, children's rights, and wandering prevention.
This year's keynote speakers and special guests are NFL star and author of Not My Boy!, Rodney Peete and actress Holly Robinson Peete, whose recent record-breaking appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice inspired the nation.
Other presenters include Dr. Andrew Wakefield, Dr. Dan Rossignol, Soma Mukhopadhyay, Areva Martin, Dr. Jane El-Dahr,Chantal Sicile-Kira, Dr. Theoharis Theoharides and authors of the newly published book, The Age of Autism, Dan Olmsted and Mark Blaxill.

ReplyDeleteThe conference can be helpful in a lot of ways. Experts and researchers can share their ideas with each other so they can come up with different solutions to the issues regarding autism.
